We will conitnue to update lodging information for the 8th Annual Warriors on the Water event as we recieve updates from our sponsers and partners.
Folks, here is a cartoon that was featured in a recent article about the Warriors on the Water in the Army Reserve Magazine! The cartoon creator is MSG Steve Opet, PAO from the United States Army Reserve Command. Great work!
We enjoy seeing all the great photos that highlight the Warriors on the Water, this one is no different. Sent to us by Harvey Wall, in the photo as a Boater, with Jerry Woodard also a boater in 2012 and Jimmie Blockett at the boat ramp at the 2012 tournament. This was in the fall edition of the Bass Anglers Magazine.
When John Crews was asked at the 2013 Bassmasters Classic what he carried for good luck, he reached for his Warriors on the Water Challenge Coin! He was presented this coin by Hal Abshire earlier in the month when the two met. What an honor it is to have John's support for the Warriors on the Water and we wish him the best of luck at the 2013 Bassmaster Classic! .jpg)
The Warriors on the Water team attended the Raleigh Fishing show recently, while there they raffled off a new Shimano Chronarch 200E7 Baitcast reel to one lucky angler. The winner of the new reel was Ed Wells of Raleigh North Carolina, who we are sure will put it to good use. The WOW team will be attending the Richmond Fishing Expo that will take place from January 25-27, where they will meet with anglers and potential sponsors for the Warriors on the Water. If you are going to attend the Richmond show, you should look for the the WOW team and enter the raffle for a new Shimano Chronarch 200E5, you might be our next lucky winner.
