VIPs visited the flight ramp for a demonstration medical evacuation using a C-130, then proceeded to lunch at the Kitty Hawk Dinning Facility. The visit to Pope finished with a visit to the 18th ASOG, a tenant unit on Pope that provides operational planning, weather support, joint air and ground training as well as contingency planning for 19 geographically separated ACC units. 43rd Airlift Wing command "Difference Maker" coins were presented to each VIP on the tour for their efforts in supporting the troops.
